2011 - Storefriendly Self Storage Group first established its brand in Singapore

2012 – Storefriendly Singapore added 3 branches amongst the heartlands

2015 – The Storefriendly Singapore business was sold. The company retains the intellectual property of the brand.

2019 – Storefriendly Singapore relaunched its flagship branch in Paya Lebar with self-storage, business storage and robotic storage services.

2023 – Storefriendly Singapore now has 8 sites.

Make Space for the Future - Part II

Having leveraged the success of the first campaign – Make Space for the Future. Consumers have been seeded with the idea of making storage as a lifestyle. The slogan – Make Space for the Future, also established Storefriendly as a future-forward storage solution.

Make Space for the Future ll seeks to reach out to our target audiences through storytelling. This campaign unveils how storage solutions by Storefriendly is able to solve problems caused by living in an environment which lacks space, and the possibilities of a better tomorrow when consumers choose to ‘Make Space for the Future’.

Storefriendly has also created an Augmented Reality game for Instagram stories. The objective of this competition is to lure consumers to check out Storefriendly, and with that, increase brand awareness and brand lift to inspire consumers to view storage as a way of life.

The winner of the game with the highest score stands a chance to win a prize money that’s enough to propel him/ her to aim for the best score by playing the game repeatedly.

The caveat to participate? Follow SF on socials, repost their gameplay, along with necessary tags and hashtags.

As a self storage operator, Storefriendly provides self storage units for personal and/or businesses. With our relaunch into the Singapore market in 2019, Storefriendly was looking to expand the range of services offered. We repositioned ourselves as an operator dealing with self storage plus additional services and solutions that compliments the basic self storage.

As such, the new flagship branch, Storefriendly Centre, opened in 2019 offering services such as self storage, robotic storage, hot desking and coworking spaces.

Storefriendly innovates with new tech solutions to offer affordable and never-before-seen storage services. We find friend solutions to remedy real life problems, understanding our customers’ needs before they even know they have one. All to make their lives easier, more accessible and super convenient.

Storefriendly is the first in adopting robotic technology in the self storage industry.

It enables better space optimisation and increased space efficiency by 1/3 from 60% to 80% of storage space. This is done by reducing corridor space to effectively maximise the number of storage units within a given area.

StorefriendlyGO has better compliance with fire safety standards than the conventional self storage setup. This is due to its no-man zone space setup, where no customers are allowed into the storage areas. There is less risk of customers being exposed to danger during emergencies. This technology therefore allows Storefriendly to use the areas otherwise not suitable for self storage.

& the ability to store a wide range of items FOR EVERYONE

Storefriendly being at the cutting edge of technology in a way that serves consumers with an efficiency they ought to expect - that was the chief inspiration behind the campaign. Storefriendly is the only automated self-storage provider in Singapore, thanks to GObot technology enabling secure and no-man zone storage. Facial recognition and 24/7 airconditioning were additional benefits that gave credence to their standing.

With a firm grasp of how different demographics required different needs, Storefriendly championed tech, not just for tech’s sake, but to enable consumers to make space for their future. Which is precisely why Gary the GObot became the natural “face”, and voice of the campaign.

Saufi has been working at Storefriendly (Singapore) for over 5 years. She takes great effort in reaching out to fellow staff members to ensure they are following SOPs and are in the right mindset to achieve the company's goals. She provides a listening ear and shows empathy when necessary while always maintaining a professional working relationship. She is impartial when managing vendors to always ensure the company receives optimal service from them.

She is well-liked by her fellow staff members, and garners respect from them. She is being looked-up to as a mentor with a capability of understanding the challenges faced by Facility Managers.
